Karsten Carl Roeder was born January 29th at 6:26pm. He was 7 lbs 11 oz and 20 inches long. He was quite stubborn! We came in for induction due to low fluid on Wed night at 7:30. Karsten's heart rate kept dropping whenever the pitocin was on, so they had prepared us that we would probably need a c-section. Luckily, they were able to put fluid back around him and I was able to deliver naturally. After 3 hours of pushing, we needed the help of forceps. It was all worth it in the end, and we are just happy that he is here and healthy!!
